Sierra Nevada, Spain – February 4-5, 2022
The first SkySnow World Championships will be held at Snow Running Sierra Nevada in Spain, February 4-5, 2022.
The race is open only to national teams. Individual world titles and medals are awarded in each discipline.
A combined title based on the best results of the Vertical and Classic races is also awarded.
Disciplines
VERTICAL – SkySnow Running Sierra Nevada Vertical: 4.3 km long with 950m vertical climb
CLASSIC – SkySnow Running Sierra Nevada: 12.5 km long with 925m vertical climb
Regulations
- All those wishing to participate in the 2022 SkySnow World Championships must be selected by their National Member.
- Every National Member can select a maximum of 12 participants per team, maximum 6 per discipline.
Premise
- The 2022 SkySnow World Championships will be held in Spain, on February 4-5, 2022 in Sierra Nevada.
- National teams must communicate their official participation and the number of athletes divided by category by December 1, 2022.
- National teams must communicate the names of the athletes by January 1, 2022.
Teams and participants must be communicated to: mregis@skyrunning.com by January 1, 2022.
WADA anti-doping tests will be carried out at the Championships managed by FEDME, the Spanish ISF Member.
